In 2011, Parineeti made her debut in Maneesh Sharma's Ladies VS Ricky Bahl alongside Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in the main lead. Her performance was very much appreciated with film critics. One of them commented, "Parineeti Chopra springs a pleasant surprise. She has wonderful screen presence and acts freely. In fact, the viewers would take to her character instantly". Komal Nahta wrote, "Of the three other girls, Parineeti Chopra is undoubtedly the best. She has the best role, the best lines and hers is the best performance among the three. In fact, she provides a lot of light moments in the first half and, more importantly, in the second half too".[2] Box office India declared the film an average.[citation needed] Parineeti Chopra has won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.
